Mark Harrison, Estate Manager

Upon leaving school, Mark moved into agricultural farming before arriving at West Ilsley as a fresh faced enthusiast ready to get stuck in. That's exactly what he did and having been here for a decade, he's now in charge of the whole operation, ensuring that the horses and staff are able to function efficiently.
With over 600 acres of gallops and paddocks to maintain, Mark and his team of four are flat out all year round and the grassland is only the tip of the iceberg. Frozen pipes, blocked drains, feed orders and storage, stable maintenance, staff accomodation, harrowing, rolling, topping, mole-catching are all a part of a wide ranging remit.
A top bloke, we're lucky to have him.
